My dear readers…I love Whimsy!
Seriously, I do…..and that is what I have named the cute little bunny salad plates I picked up at Pier 1 last year, Whimsy!.
I mean just look at that face!
How could you not smile and think…of Whimsy!
Am I right?
And look there are four of them and I believe you can still find them at Pier 1.
I started this tablescape with a pretty pastel colored tablecloth that I bought at JoAnn’s Fabrics.
I added pastel blue-ish turquoise linen napkins with white and blue fringe. The napkin rings are little rabbit ears.
I experimented with flatware and used the whimsical turquoise handled cutlery with white polka dots…. but when I looked at the pics to edit….they looked too blue beside the turquoise napkin.
What do you think?
So I switched them out for a clear white knife, forks and spoon.
I used the little bunny egg cup holders that I bought several years ago….I think at PB., but could have been Pier 1 or World Market.
The chargers are white-washed rope and I topped them with white dinner plates with beaded rims.
And then of course the whimsy….the salad plates of the cute little bunny faces.
The centerpiece is a grapevine nest of colored Easter eggs topped with pastel pink and blue bows.
On each side of the nest are the fluffy lambs that are so soft you want to cuddle with them.
Look at that sweet face!
I have to have a lamb at my Easter table.
I also used mercury candle holders and bubble water goblets.
More whimsy, don’t you think?
I hope you like this whimsical tablescape as much as I do.
Hugs and Blessings to all of you.
