Monday we go to Tampa where I start 5 days of radiation. The Captain and I both agree that the decision to not go through with the last chemo treatment better prepares me for the upcoming radiation treatments. I feel stronger and the chemo is almost out of my body so not feeling many of the side effects of the chemo. Please keep your warm thoughts and prayers coming....I love and pray for all of you. Hello sweet friends. I know I am past an update for you, but I wanted to wait until I made another trip to the Moffitt Cancer Center to "assess" where we stand. Praise God.....He has answered prayer, To God be the Glory, great things He has done... thanks to your many prayers going to Him on my behalf. First, my cancer has shrunk another 15%.....whoopee! Dear friends, Remember I told you the Captain decided to give me something to look forward to, rather than more chemo....(more on that later)....so he brought in several of our sub-contractors from our flip houses to update parts of our kitchen. in order to keep costs down, I suggested using existing cabinets. This is going to be quick my dear sweet readers...but I just have to take the time to tell you how well I am doing these days. After that harrowing time of blood clots and such in the hospital...I am doing very well. There are 3 different nurses and social workers checking on me weekly which is a comfort, but perhaps the best medicine is my son and his girlfriend who have moved to Florida to be with me.
